Once upon a time in the late 90's, long before there was Labubu and Labuland, there was Poofy and Poofyville, a creation of a talented teenager living in New Jersey named Robyn Lee.
In college, Robyn went on to create a popular food blog, thegirlwhoateeverything.com and it led to her 7-year full time job as a writer/editor/photographer/doodler for Serious Eats. Robyn also produced Poofy comicbooks, T-shirts and hand-sewn Poofy plushies, and sold her merch online and at comic conventions. She had many passionate fans. We, the people bringing back Poofy, were among them. Yes we had the T-shirts and the plush toys.
Today, Robyn lives in Norway with her husband and daughter where she is a full-time housewife and part-time postal worker. Robyn says, "Thanks to Big Noyes, Poofy is back in business. And maybe this time it'll turn a profit!"
